Easy Snack Made in 5 Minutes! Caramel Rusks with Dried Wheat Gluten

You only need a frying pan to make this ultra-fast, crunchy, & crispy snack! Made with only 3 ingredients!! This is a healthy snack for children as well.

Ingredients

Dried wheat gluten
20 g (a handful)
Granulated sugar
1 to 2 tablespoons
Butter
20 g

Steps

1. Add the butter and dried wheat gluten to a frying pan, and turn on the heat (low heat).
2. Melt the butter and coat the dried wheat gluten with butter.
3. Once the dried wheat gluten has absorbed all the butter, raise the heat to medium heat and roast them.
4. Lower the heat again to low heat, and sprinkle evenly with granulated sugar.
5. Once the granulated sugar has melted, and they have turned golden brown, it's done!

Story Behind this Recipe

I had leftover dried wheat gluten that I had originally bought as baby food.
I had to use it up some how!
