Diced Steak Made with Ground Beef

Made with ground beef, this is cheaper, softer and more delicious than real diced steak! Just cook all sides of the cubes after seasoning.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Ground beef (or a pork and beef blend)
500 g
1/4 tablespoon
1/4 tablespoon
1 tablespoon


1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and flatten the meat into one square like in the picture. Cut into 2-3 cm squares.
2. Cook on the griddle with your favourite sauce, such as a Yakiniku Japanese BBQ sauce (not listed).
3. Cook each side of the meat, turning with a spatula so it doesn't burn. It's done when the sauce has mixed in.
4. You can also make this in a frying pan, and serve it with grated daikon radish and ponzu sauce. It is delicious.

Diced steak is expensive, but I wanted to eat it! So I made diced steak using cheap ground beef!
