Easy Spaghetti Bolognese Sauce made with a Food Processor

Easy Spaghetti Bolognese Sauce made with a Food Processor

Blend ingredients in the food processor one after another, stir and simmer. You can make it quickly.

Ingredients: About 4 servings

Ground meat
●Shiitake mushrooms
●Bell pepper
1 clove
Vegetable oil
1 tablespoon
Canned tomatoes (whole or diced)
1 can
Soup stock cube
1 cube
Bay leaf
salt, pepper
a pinch of each

1. Mince the garlic. Cut the ingredients marked ● into a bite-sized pieces. Cutting all vegetables first reduces the cooking time.
2. Put onion into the food processor.
3. Heat vegetable oil and garlic in a pan over low heat.
4. Raise the temperature to medium heat. Saute onion until transparent, add ground meat and stir fry.
5. Put carrot and celery into the food processor.
6. Add to the pan.
7. Put shiitake mushrooms and bell pepper into the food processor.
8. Add to the pan and stir fry.
9. Last, put canned tomatoes into the food processor.
10. Add the tomatoes to the pan. Put in soup stock cube and bay leaf and simmer.
11. Add salt and pepper to taste, and serve. (15 minutes simmered over medium heat in this picture.)
12. It's a lumpy sauce, so it's a good match with penne and lasagna. I used penne this time.

Story Behind this Recipe

I bought a food processor a few years ago just to make this sauce. Over time, I started making it without checking the recipe, and the portions grew to about twice the amount of this recipe.
