Non-Oil Non-Egg "Rare" Chocolate Gateau

A non-oil and non-egg cake with few dry ingredients. The texture is the same as a ganache. It's good for people who like bitter tastes.

Ingredients: 16cm round cake mould

Silken tofu
Cocoa (unsweetened)
Corn starch
2 tablespoons
4 tablespoons
Kanten powder
Soy milk
3 tablespoons

1. Pre-heat the oven to 340°F/170°C.
2. Put all the ingredients in a mixer and blend. When it's smooth, pour it into a cake pan.
3. Bake in a 340°F/170°C oven for 40 minutes. When it's cooled, let it cool in the fridge.

Story Behind this Recipe

I wanted to make a rich and moist cake without oil or eggs. I don't like adding a lot of dry ingredients, so I used very little. The word "rare" is perfect to describe this cake.
