Cut the sausages into bite-sized pieces. Make incisions and cook by boiling, frying or microwaving.
If the rice is too hot, cool it down a little. If its too cold, heat it up a little. Spread the rice on cling film and put the cut sausage on top.
Wrap the sausage with rice in the way you make small roll sushi. Adjust the shapes so that the sausage is wrapped around the rice. Twist one end of the cling film tightly.
Squeeze out as much air as possible from the cling film and twist the other end tightly closed.
Heat sesame oil and fry the rolled rice. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and fry until golden brown. After golden brown pour, mentsuyu sauce.
Fry and roll until the mentsuyu evaporates and the surface is crispy brown.
Wrap with sheets of nori or sprinkle shredded nori if you like. Wet the knife before slicing to make it easier.

Story Behind this Recipe
I was wondering if I could make corn dogs with rice. After several trials, this is the best version of the recipe that I came up with. The thick, chewy layer of rice around the sausages is the best thing ever.
If you use lukewarm rice for shaping, it will not crumble even when you pick up with chopsticks or fry them. It is important that you shape the rice tightly by pushing out excess air. It is better to use a little more rice than you think.
