Piping Hot! Honey and Ginger Milk

I've had a tickle in my throat recently, so I've been drinking this honey and ginger milk to soothe my throat. Enjoy it before you go to bed or when you wake up.

Ingredients: 1 mug worth

200 ml
Grated ginger
1 teaspoon - 1 tablespoon
1 teaspoon - 1 tablespoon


1. Pour milk into a large mug.
2. I'm lazy, so I just place the grater over the mug and grate the ginger directly into it. Add the honey.
3. Microwave it on the milk setting and it's done.
4. Instead of honey, you can use sugar, liquid sugar or maple syrup. Try out lots of different things,
5. It saves time if you grate the ginger in advance, pickle it in the same amount of honey and keep a stock of it.
6. If you add a black tea bag before microwaving, it'll become like chai.
