Berry Confiture (Jam)

Berry Confiture (Jam)

This is full of berries and has a great texture that you're sure to love! It's the classic combination of sweet and tart and it's also visually appealing to your desserts.

150 g
Mixed berries (frozen)
50 g
Lemon juice
1 tablespoon
Granulated sugar
80 g (40% of the berries)

1. Remove the stems of the strawberries, wash, and put into a pot. Add the mixed berries and sugar and let sit for 1-2 hours until the water draws out.
2. Turn the heat to low-medium. Once it begins to boil, skim off the scum carefully, and simmer while stirring for 10-15 minutes. Mash any large strawberries.
3. Add the lemon juice and lightly mix. Check the taste and enjoy.
4. Store in a sterilized container in the refrigerator.

Story Behind this Recipe

I bought some mixed berries (raspberries, cranberries, black berries, dark cherries, and blueberries) to mix up with some seasonal strawberries.
