Pasta with Broccoli Cream Sauce

Pasta with Broccoli Cream Sauce

It's a creamy and delicious pasta dish that even my son, who dislikes broccoli, can gobble up quickly. The sauce with made with only one frying pan.

Ingredients: 4 servings

1 clove
8 to 10 slices
1/2 teaspoon
Pasta (penne - or whatever you prefer)
400 g (if penne, 350 g)
Olive oil
1 tablespoon
100 ml
3 tablespoons
Salt and pepper to finish
to taste
Parmesan cheese
to taste

1. Chop the broccoli into small pieces. Dice the stem into 1 cm cubes. Mince the garlic, and chop the bacon into 1 cm wide strips.
2. Heat the olive oil and garlic in a frying pan and cook over a low heat until fragrant. Add bacon, broccoli, and salt. Add enough water to cover the ingredients.
3. Cover the pan and simmer until the broccoli is soft. Remove the lid, and continue simmering until all the liquid is reduced. Mash the broccoli with a spatula and add milk and butter.
4. Add some al dente pasta and mix thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper and enjoy.

Story Behind this Recipe

I was trying to make pasta with broccoli, but I was too slow and everything fell apart.
So, I made a variation using cream sauce, and it was so delicious that now it's one of our family's favorite.
