Easy to Make ・・Cod with Vegetable An-Sauce

This cod is topped with vegetable an-sauce. It's a light and tasty dish.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Cod filets

Plain flour

・For the an-sauce
Water
200 ml
Dashi stock granules
1/2 teaspoon
Soy sauce
2 teaspoons
Mirin
2 teaspoons
Sugar
1 teaspoon
Salt
1/2 teaspoon
Katakuriko
1 tablespoon
Water (for dissolving the katakuriko)
3 tablespoons

Steps

1. Lightly season the cod with salt, pepper, and sake.
2. Julienne the vegetables.
3. Add the water, soy sauce, mirin, sugar, and salt to a pot and bring to a gentle boil. Turn off the heat.
4. Dust the cod from Step 1 lightly with flour. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and pan-fry the cod on both sides until well browned.
5. While the cod is cooking, add the vegetables from Step 2 to the pot from Step 3. When the vegetables are cooked, add the katakuriko dissolved in water and stir to thicken.
6. When the cod is done cooking, pour the an-sauce from Step 5 on top. Done.
