Mild Tasting Cinderella's Pumpkin Soup

This is a mild and sweet soup with lots of pumpkin. It will make your body warm up It can be used as baby food if you use less seasoning.

Ingredients

Kabocha squash
1/4
Carrot
1
Onion
1
Butter
1 tablespoon
Milk
400ml
Soup stock granules (consommé)
1 teaspoon
Salt and pepper
a small amount
Heavy cream
As you like

Steps

1. Cut all the vegetables into thin small slices.
2. Steam all the vegetables in a pot with butter.
3. Add 400ml of water, and simmer until the vegetables are softened.
4. Make it smooth using a mixer.
5. Add milk, and simmer with low heat. Season with the soup stock granules, salt and pepper.
6. Plate and it's ready. It would be delicious with a garnish of heavy cream.

Story Behind this Recipe

My daughter told me she wanted to eat Cinderella's soup, so I made this. Seems like she got the idea from a nursery rhyme show. I put in lots of vegetables, some which my daughter likes and some she dislikes.
