Easily Microwave Custard

You can quickly make custard in the microwave! This custard is not overly sweet.

Ingredients: 12~15 cream puffs' worth

Egg yolks
300 ml
45 g
2 tablespoons
1 tablespoon
Vanilla extract
a small amount


1. Combine the ● ingredients and sift.
2. Microwave the milk at 700 W for about 2 minutes.
3. Whisk the milk into the ● ingredients a little at a time. Then, mix in the beaten egg in small batches.
4. Microwave at 700 W for 2:30~3 minutes. Take out to stir 2 or 3 times along the way. When it is as thick as you'd like, remove from the microwave.
5. Add the butter and vanilla extract to Step 4 while it's still hot, and mix.
6. Once finished, pour it all into a shallow container.
7. Cover the surface of the custard completely with a sheet if plastic wrap and leave to cool. The plastic prevents the surface from drying out, and you can remove it cleanly.
