Non-fried Potato Croquettes

Non-fried Potato Croquettes

Deep-fried croquette is delicious, but the panko coating absorbs a lot of oil in the cooking process. These simple croquettes are baked in the oven for a similar finish.

Ingredients: For 14 portions

Beef or pork
100 g
Potato
5
Onions
1/2
Margarine
5 g
Panko
50 g
Vegetable oil
1 tablespoon
Flour
as needed
Eggs
1
Salt and pepper
to your liking

Steps

1. Put minced onions and margarine in a heat-resistant plate, microwave for 3 minutes at 500 W and mix.
2. Put the panko and vegetable oil on a heat-resistant plate, mix and microwave for 6 minutes at 500 W! They easily burn, so mix about 5 times while cooking. It's done once it browns.
3. Wash the potatoes, wrap in cling film and microwave for 7 minutes in 500 w until softened, then peel the skin and mash.
4. Combine the salt and pepper seasoned meat (refer to hints), onions, salt and pepper with the potatoes.
5. Wet you hands and shape the croquettes. Coat with flour, egg and panko, and bake for 20 minutes at 250°C.
