Mixed Rice with Spiced Spinach

Mixed Rice with Spiced Spinach

This is a rice dish mixed with butter sautéed spinach and wiener sausages. A dab of Gochujang paste adds an appetite-whetting spiciness.

Ingredients: 2 to 3 servings

2 bunches
Wiener sausage
4 (small Japanese type)
1 teaspoon
☆ Cooked white rice
2 rice bowls' worth
☆ White sesame seeds
1 tablespoon
☆ Mentsuyu (3x concentrate)
1 tablespoon
☆ Gochujang
2 teaspoons
☆ Salt and pepper
To taste

1. Thoroughly rinse the spinach, drain excess water, and cut to 2 cm pieces. Slice the sausage into coins.
2. Heat butter in a frying pan, and add the sausages, then the spinach. Stir-fry until the spinach is tender.
3. Combine the ingredients marked ☆, then those from Step 2, and serve.
4. I recommend packing it in bento since it's tasty even when cold.
