Cocoa Scones Made with Olive Oil

These crunchy and moist scones only take 30 minutes to make!
They use olive oil which makes them healthy.

Ingredients: 8-10 scones

White flour
200 g
Baking powder
2 teaspoons
a pinch
Sweetened cocoa (see step 6)
2 packets (About 60 g)
Olive oil
30 ml
70 g
Coconut (optional)
as needed


1. Sift the flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl, add the cocoa and mix well.
2. Mix the egg and milk together, and then stir into the bowl from step 1 in small batches.
3. Mix in the olive oil and coconut, and bring the dough together.
4. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap, and stretch out to a 2 cm thickness by hand or with a rolling pin.
5. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Cut out shapes with a cutter, place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, bake for 15 minutes, and they're done!
6. I used Swiss Miss sweetened cocoa.
