Chocolate Custard

Just mix minced chocolate into custard cream.
It's homemade and delicious without vanilla beans.

Ingredients: 300 g

Milk
200 ml
Vanilla extract
2 - 3 drops
Egg
30 g
Sugar
70 g
Cornstarch
20 g
Butter
5 g
Rum
a small amount
Chocolate
50 g

Steps

1. Add the milk and vanilla extract to a pot and heat. (Just until it starts to simmer).
2. Add the eggs, sugar, and cornstarch in that order to a bowl and mix.
3. Add the milk a little at a time while mixing.
4. Pour the mixture into the sauce pan through a sieve and raise the heat to high while mixing. Once it comes to a boil, stop the heat, add the butter and rum, and mix.
5. When making custard cream this is it. Put the pot in ice water to cool quickly.
6. Add the minced chocolate to Step 4 and mix evenly.
7. Put the pot in ice water to cool quickly.
