Thinly slice the onion and rub in 1 teaspoon of salt. Leave for 15 minutes, and then wash off the salt with water. Remove excess water with paper towels.
Use shop-bought pizza sauce or make your own. I plan to upload a separate recipe for my handmade pizza sauce.
Pierce the pizza bases (recipe ID: 1043830) with a fork.
Spread about 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce on top.
Sprinkle with the well drained onions, diagonally cut sausages, sliced red bell peppers, mushrooms and frozen corn kernels.
Top with plenty of cheese and bake for 10-12 minutes at 300℃.
Melting cheese and crispy pizza base - it's best to eat homemade pizza while it's hot!
Story Behind this Recipe
This is an traditional pizza. As long as you can make the "Basic Pizza Base", I think you can top it with whatever you like. The basic pizza base is in a separate recipe, so please have a look.
I use an oven which has a stone oven mode (300℃). If your oven doesn't go up to 300℃, bake just the pizza base for about 5 minutes at 200℃. Then make sure it cools down before adding the toppings, and then bake again at 200℃. This will make it nice and crispy.
