Pork Kimchi Hot Pot with Delicious Soup

Sauté the kimchi, add the water, add the ingredients and boil! You can make a delicious soup just by following these steps. It really warms the body!

Ingredients: 26 cm pot

100 g
150-200 g
800-900 ml
Sesame oil
2-3 tablespoons
Chicken Stock granules
2 teaspoons
2 tablespoons
Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
2 to 3 tablespoons
1 clove
Your Choice of Vegetables and Toppings:
Garlic chives, Chinese cabbage, welsh/spring onion, mushrooms, tofu etc.

1. Wash the clams, grate the garlic. Cut the vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
2. The ingredients will look something like this. (The picture omits the pork and tofu.)
3. Add sesame oil to the pot.
4. Lightly sauté the kimchi until it becomes fragrant.
5. At this point, the soup stock is made. Add the clams.
6. Add the water. Boil.
7. Add the chicken stock granules, sake, soy sauce, miso, and garlic. Taste (if it isn't strong enough, adjust accordingly). And the soup is finished!
8. Now, add the ingredients.
9. Boil for awhile, and it's done!
10. *If you like it spicy, add gochujang (Korean red chili paste) to adjust the spiciness.

Story Behind this Recipe

This is personally how I make it; it's delicious. As expected, this is how it should be done! You can make it with only 3 steps, and then add any ingredients you'd like for an extra-delicious soup. The amount of salt is on the moderate side as well. Regulate the spiciness with gochujang (Korean red chili paste).
