Tuna Marinated In Wine Vinegar Appetizer

Tuna Marinated In Wine Vinegar Appetizer

This is an Italian appetizer. It has a sophisticated vinegar flavor, and it's arranged elegantly. It matches very well with wine.

Ingredients

Fresh sashimi grade tuna
1 pack
Cucumber
1/3
Cherry tomatoes
4
Fresh coriander leaves
a small amount
■ To flavor the cubed tuna:
Olive oil
2 tablespoons
Coarsely ground salt and black pepper
a small amount
■ To flavor the vegetables:
Olive oil
2 tablespoons
White wine vinegar
3 tablespoons
Coarsely ground salt and black pepper
a small amount
Lemon juice
To sprinkle on when eating, to taste

Steps

1. Cube the tuna and vegetables except for the coriander. Remove the seeds from the tomatoes and cucumber.
2. Marinate the tuna in its flavoring ingredients, and the vegetables in their flavoring ingredients. Chill in the refrigerator.
3. Put a round plating mold on a plate. Press the tuna in the mold with a spoon, then top with the vegetables. Take the mold off, add the fresh coriander leaves and the vegetable marinade, and it's done.
4. It's also nice with shrimp and nanohana. Sprinkle with lemon juice to taste.
5. I used an empty can with both ends removed as my circular mold. See photo. Second from the left is the white wine vinegar I used.

Story Behind this Recipe

I created an Italian style maguro (lean tuna) recipe for a special occasion.
