Pour the milk into a heatproof mug or cup and heat in the microwave to 70~80℃.
Add the cocoa powder and chocolate syrup to the warmed milk and mix. Add the rum and cinnamon to taste and enjoy!
It's great hot in the winter and it's great cold in the summer!

When I'm tired, I just want to drink some nice, sweet hot cocoa. So I came up with this easy home recipe.
This time, I used a heatproof measuring cup, but you can also use a mug. For heating the milk, I have a milk heating setting on my microwave that heats it to 70℃, but if you don't have this setting, heat at 600 W for about 1 minute 30 seconds. Be sure not to let the milk boil.
