I Lost Weight with These! Complete Okara Cookies

These cookies are strong allies when you want to lose that last kilo! I weighed 42 kg 2 months ago, but now I'm at 41 kg!

Ingredients: 1 breakfast's worth

Dried okara powder
15 g
Low fat milk
45 g
Butter (salted or unsalted)
15 g
Soft light brown sugar
23 g
21 g
Baking powder
3 g
Vanilla oil
a small amount


1. Combine the dried okara powder and milk in a heatproof bowl, and let okara absorb the milk.
2. Add butter, and microwave the bowl (a bit less than 20 seconds at 1000w). Mix well. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix.
3. Form into a ball, put on a piece of plastic wrap and roll out to 2 mm thickness. Dust both sides of the dough with katakuriko.
4. Cut out in whatever shape you like. Ideally you want to fill up a 40 x 25 cm baking sheet with the cookies.
5. Bake in a preheated 360F/180C oven for 5 minutes, then lower the temperature to 320F/160C and bake for another 10 minutes or so. When the cookies are crispy, they're done!
6. The cookies should be about this thin! You can munch on these when you get hungry.
7. For breakfast! Mound up all the cookies on a plate and go at it!

I went on a diet so that I could wear the clothes from a store I love. These cookies are a great ally when you want to lose that last kilo. They're sweet, crunchy, and have a balanced source of fiber and protein. Add a small amount of good quality butter for fat. If you eat these with plenty of liquids, your tummy will be very satisfied!
