Cheesy Chicken Meatballs in a Western-Style Hot Pot

Cheesy Chicken Meatballs in a Western-Style Hot Pot

Chicken meatballs are a must-have in a hot pot.
I added cheese to go well with western hot pot tastes.

Ingredients: makes about 15

Minced (ground) chicken
200 g
Onions (finely chopped)
1/4
Carrot (finely chopped)
1/4
Processed cheese (cubes)
as desired
Beaten egg
1/3
Katakuriko
little less than 1 tablespoon
Salt . pepper
to taste
Parsley, if desired (dry)
as desired

Steps

1. Add the minced chicken, onion, carrot, beaten egg, a little less than 1 tablespoon of katakuriko, salt, pepper, and parsley to a bowl and knead together.
2. Cut the cheese into cubes and make meatballs with the cheese at the center (I used 2 slices of cheese).
3. If you apply a little oil to your hands, it'll be easier to make the meatball shapes.
4. If you parboil them it'll be easy when you eat them. Use the hot water broth in your hot pot.

Story Behind this Recipe

These are the cheesy meatballs I used in my Italian Tomato Hot Pot, Recipe ID: 659987.
I'm listing them as their own recipe.
