Teriyaki Ham

Teriyaki Ham

Add sugar to yakiniku sauce for a mock teriyaki sauce. This is also a great bento side dish.

Ingredients: 1 serving

Ham, weiner sausages
as needed
Sweetened yakiniku sauce (any kind)
1 tablespoon
1 teaspoon
Vegetables (lettuce, etc)
1 - 3 leaves


1. Cut the ham and wiener sausages into bite-sized pieces. Combine the yakiniku sauce and sugar.
2. Heat a frying pan, and pan-fry the wiener sausages, then ham.
3. Pour the Step 1 sauce into Step 2, mix well, and it's done!

Story Behind this Recipe

My mother-in-law gave me a ham from New Year's Day since she didn't think she'd be able to eat it all! I was trying to think what I could do with it, and came up with this recipe!
