Stir Fry Pork Belly and Chinese Cabbage with Gochujang and Miso

Gochujang + miso = a little spicy and rich flavor.

This is perfect with rice.

Ingredients: 2-3 servings

Thinly sliced pork belly
150 g
Chinese cabbage
1/8
☆ Gochujang
1 teaspoon
☆ Miso
1 tablespoon
☆ Mirin
1 tablespoon
Sesame seed oil
1/2 tablespoon
White sesame seeds
A pinch

Steps

1. Mix all the ☆ ingredients.
2. Cut the pork belly into bite sized pieces. Roughly chop the leaf part of Chinese cabbage and cut the white part into 1cm strips.
3. Heat sesame oil in a pan and fry the white part of the Chinese cabbage over high heat.
4. When they get soft, turn down the heat to medium and add the meat and the leaf part of Chinese cabbage as well.
5. When they are cooked through, add the combined sauce and mix well.
6. Sprinkle some white sesame seeds for finishing.

Story Behind this Recipe

Gochujang and Miso goes well with meat. And I combined it with Chinese cabbage, which is in season now.
