Prevents Colds! Nabe (Hot Pot) With Lots of Ginger

This nabe (hot pot) with lots of thinly sliced ginger will warm you up. Eat this on days when you feel like you're catching a cold, and you'll feel better the next day.

Ingredients: Serves 1

as much as you want
Garlic chives
1 bunch
Bean sprouts
1/2 bag
Pork (I used roast this time)
around 100 g
Shiitake mushrooms
1/3 block
50 ml
★Cooking sake
1 tablespoon
★Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
★Chicken soup stock (powdered)
1 teaspoon
1/2 clove

1. Prepare the ingredients. Cut the chives, tofu, shiitake mushrooms, and pork into bite-size pieces.
2. Slice the ginger into fine julienne. At my house, we usually use one bag of ginger for each person. Use as much as you like!
3. Add the ★ ingredients to an earthenware pot. Thinly slice the garlic.
4. Layer the ingredients in the pot in this order: bean sprouts, chives, pork, tofu, and shiitake mushrooms. Finally, place the ginger on top. If you're using an earthenware pot for one person, the ingredients will look like they're piled on high, but don't worry about it.
5. Cover with the lid and simmer over low heat for 10-15 minutes. After the ingredients reduce in volume, cook over high heat until everything is cooked through. It's done.
6. Drizzle on some sesame oil to taste - it's delicious!
