Mince the onion and carrot. Sauté the onion in a small amount of oil until browned, and then let it cool.
Put the egg and meat into a bowl. Knead together well with your hands
Put the remaining ☆ ingredients into the bowl from Step 2 and mix it all together.
Place into a pound cake pan and push down the center a little. Bake for 30-40 minutes in a preheated 200℃ oven, and then it's done!
Add 1/4 canned whole tomatoes, 1 tbsp Worcestershire-style sauce, and a little bit of the juices from the cooked meatloaf into a frying pan. Bring it to a boil and then it's done!
Story Behind this Recipe
I wanted to make a healthy meatloaf with less meat than usual, so I tried it this way.
The secret to the deliciousness is to sauté the onions beforehand, and then mix them in very well with the egg and meat! Adjust the amount of meat and tofu to preference. This time, I used basil for the herb.
