Place 4 cups of milk in a pot, and crumble in the chocolate chip cookies. Bring the milk up to a simmer, and as soon as bubbles develop on the surface, remove from the heat and allow the milk to cool to room temperature. Then strain the milk so that the cookie pieces are removed – now you’ll have cookie-flavoured milk! The cookies will have thickened the milk, so add the additional two cups of milk to thin the milk out again. Then add a few drops of vanilla extract.
